Hogan

Hogan is one of the most coveted buildings at Columbia because of its large single rooms, suite setup, and prime location. Located on Broadway just across from the gates on 114th Street, Hogan offers the convenience of close proximity to campus, but also allows the seniors who live here the chance to be slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the main University. The street address and entrance for Hogan Hall is 566 W. 114th Street.

Layout

The building comprises four- and five-person suites, with single-occupancy rooms only. Beginning in 2010, there is one six-person suite on the seventh floor. The common areas of each suite have furnished living rooms, and the kitchens are equipped with dishwashers. Since Hogan is an attachment of Broadway Hall, the residents of Hogan are able to conveniently use the features of Broadway Hall as well, such as the sky lounges on the 14th floor.

RP Rooms: 2B1, 4B1, 6B1

Room Selection Notes

Because of the single-occupancy rooms in a suite-style arrangement, only lucky seniors are able to live in Hogan.

What Students Say

"This building is like heaven for seniors! The rooms are great, there's plenty of storage, the kitchen and bathroom facilities are among the best I've seen on campus, and it's not far from Lerner Hall, Butler Library, or the rest of campus. It's also really great that you and your neighboring suites can do as you please without really disturbing each other."
