IMPORTANT NOTE*: Current demand for Housing is lower than originally projected. As a result, UAH Apartments will not be part of Room Selection. If additional space is eventually needed, it will be offered as part of the summer transfer process. The Summer Transfer Form is available May 1st. Students who would like a UAH apartment should they become available should fill out a Summer Transfer of Fall Assignment Form. Transfers for UAH apartments will be made in lottery number order (ie. UAH Apartments will first be assigned to students in 2-person groups who would have been able to select them if they had been available during Selection).
For a limited time, Columbia Housing is offering a special housing opportunity for seniors who will be living on campus academic year '11-'12. Interested seniors may be able to transfer into one- and two-bedroom apartments on 113th and 114th streets. The apartments are similar to those in Watt, but are generally more spacious and have some upgraded features. For additional information about the various apartment layouts, please see the sample floor plans below.
Interested seniors should email the Housing team at housing@columbia.edu as soon as possible indicating that they are interested and who they would want to be assigned with in a two-bedroom apartment or one-bedroom double. Students must respond by Friday, August 5,2011 at 9:00 am to be considered, and will be notified by Friday, August 12, 2011 if they received a transfer. Assignments will be made based on time of application, and students with the worst lottery numbers will be considered first.
